This website version provides the current accessible policy text. Where a separately accepted or signed agreement applies, that agreement and any non-waivable law also govern.
Use services lawfully and honestly
Services must be used for legitimate music and business activity. Users must respect rights, security, other users, platform rules and applicable law.
Prohibited activity
- copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights infringement;
- artificial streams, bots, click farms, stream manipulation or fraudulent playlists;
- payment fraud, chargeback abuse or false ownership claims;
- malware, security attacks, unauthorised access or abusive automated use;
- impersonation, fake artists, deceptive identities or unauthorised voice cloning;
- misleading metadata, platform manipulation or evasion of enforcement;
- unlawful threats, direct incitement or other content prohibited by applicable law; and
- repeated material policy violations.
Consequences
Indigenous Tunes may investigate, request evidence, restrict a release, suspend activity, withhold disputed or fraud-related amounts where lawful, terminate access, notify a platform or authority, or take another proportionate action. DSP penalties may independently affect releases and royalties.
Lawful expression
This policy is not intended to prohibit lawful artistic expression merely because it is controversial. Restrictions focus on illegality, infringement, fraud, deception, platform abuse and concrete service or safety risks.
