This website version provides the current accessible policy text. Where a separately accepted or signed agreement applies, that agreement and any non-waivable law also govern.
Sufficient rights are required
Users must own or control sufficient rights for every master recording, composition, sample, beat, artwork element, featured-artist performance, producer contribution, performer contribution, name, image and other third-party material submitted.
Acceptance is not ownership validation
Indigenous Tunes may review information and request evidence, but acceptance, delivery or continued availability does not confirm legal ownership or resolve competing claims.
Accurate identity and metadata
Artist identities, titles, contributors, dates, identifiers, explicit-content labels and ownership information must be accurate and not misleading. Fake artists, impersonation, confusing metadata and manipulated identifiers are prohibited.
Content standards
Content must comply with applicable law and platform requirements. Unlawful content, infringement, fraudulent identities, prohibited artwork, direct incitement where unlawful, deceptive spam and content designed to manipulate platforms may be rejected or removed.
Digital services can apply additional content rules; this policy does not invent or replace a DSP's current requirements.
Explicit content
Explicit content must be identified accurately where a platform requires it. An explicit-content label does not make otherwise unlawful or infringing material eligible.
